Build
Multi layered BC flute diecut and glued together
Glue (classic elmer’s style glue) : Polyvinyl acetate, Polyvinyl alcohol, and Propylene glycol
What Worked:.
Damn strong!
Got an efficient cut pattern down that allowed for nesting efficiency with other products (stool) and easy take apart off diecutter.
Whole item is recyclable with paper stream.
What Could be Improved:
Set up some sort of jig for construction, piece sagged and titled under weight when drying.
Need packaging! Some sort of reveal for kiddos. A palpable hesitance when asking a kiddos to check out a strange object just sitting in plain sight.
Is there a cleaner glue?
Needs handholds, perhaps some of bar that rises up in the middle. Allows kiddos to push and rock forward and back.
Think about some sort of stopper, especially if adding more curve to bottom.
Not the most comfortable thing, feels good with tufted rug layed down on seats, but maybe think about something that’s still paper (woven paper ribbon?)
