Multi layered BC flute diecut and glued together
Glue (classic elmer’s style glue) : Polyvinyl acetate, Polyvinyl alcohol, and Propylene glycol
What Worked:.
Packaging was a part of the process. Kiddo gravitated to the unique shaped box gave extra anticipation and excitment. Opening up with pull tray was a great reveal.
Whole item is recyclable with paper stream.
What Could be Improved:
Colored siding.
More robust material for siding.
Full starch based glue (PVA free) - try wheat paste.
Super labor intensive to glue together, maybe a thicker material like Xanita.
Obviously can’t sell Gehry’s design, but would be fun to push this construction method into unique forms.
Comfort: maybe consider woven paper ribbon mat or seat
