  • Multi layered BC flute diecut and glued together

  • Glue (classic elmer’s style glue) : Polyvinyl acetate, Polyvinyl alcohol, and Propylene glycol

What Worked:.

  • Packaging was a part of the process. Kiddo the unique shaped box gave extra anticipation and excitment. Opening up with pull tray was a great reveal.

  • Whole item is recyclable with paper stream.

What Could be Improved:

  • Colored siding.

  • More robust material for siding.

  • Full starch based glue (PVA free) - try wheat paste.

  • Super labor intensive to glue together, maybe a thicker material like Xanita.

  • Obviously can’t sell Gehry’s design, but would be fun to push this construction method into unique forms.

What Worked:

  • Colored backing worked nicely, giving some excitement.

  • Packaging was beautiful. Act of putting back in packaging becomes a part of the product with the riso illustration as a guide.

What Could be Improved:

  • Full starch based glue (PVA free) - try wheat paste

  • Super labor intensive to glue together, a single ply material (xanita or wood)

  • Tolerances difficult to snap together for snake

  • Genius of design is in Enzo Mari’s illustration, would require a unique illustration

  • Maybe try these cut from a sheet of printed magnets?
